Winamp is a free console that allows you to listen to your nice and illegal mp3's. A skin is a picture or pattern that goes over your Winamp player to make it look nice. That's such an evil word for such a cool thing. Skins. "I'll trade you this cootie-infested blanket for these skins." It's a word that takes you back to the frontier days when men were real men, women were real women, and furry creatures from...you know the rest.
These are Megaman X Winamp skins, and they are most excellent. Ever tried to make a Winamp skin? It's a bitch. But these particular skins are by Reve and are far, far better than any of my messes, which hot irons could not persuade me to post here.
HOW TO INSTALL A WINAMP SKIN: I don't know if "install" is the right word, but here's a quickie set of instructions. Unzip the skin of your choice into the Winamp "Skins" folder (the .zip archive should automatically create a folder for itself). When that's all said and done, click on the 'O' in the upper left hand corner of the Winamp console. A menu will pop up. Drag the mouse down to "Skins" and your skins should be listed there!

| First up--Zero! This is my personal favourite...'tis the one I use. :) My only complaint is that the menu buttons are a tad hard to see. Still, it's worth slogging through just for that cool piccie on top! :D |

 | A MMX skin collection just wouldn't be much of a collection if it didn't have...X. This is a very nifty skin in the spirit of X4. Watch X point his arm cannon at your head for eternity, a constant reminder if what'll happen to you if your giant mp3 collection is discovered! ^_^ |
